Exec(appname)
Description
Allows an arbitrary application to be invoked even when not hard coded into the dialplanThe core call-routing configuration of Asterisk, written mostly in extensions.conf as contexts, extensions, and priorities that decide how every call is handled. Full definition →. If the underlying application terminates the dialplan, or if the application cannot be found, Exec will terminate the dialplan.
